“A dramatic improvement on how we order parts. We can communicate with the manufacturer directly from our DMS.”

Support Overview

The PSP development team has developed programs to support adopters of Partners Standard Protocol (PSP).

PSP Support will help you to maximize and streamline your PSP implementation success through a combination of PSP experts, methodologies, automated testing tools, plus a comprehensive certification program to ensure quality assurance. These services lead to PSP Certification and inclusion in the private PSP Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) registry.

Our services allow you to effectively align your IT and business strategies, shorten your implementation process, and certify interoperable to the PSP standard – ensuring that IT supports your business goals.

We recognize two categories of supported PSP implementers:

  • Subscribers
  • Development Participants

Support services are provided in two important areas:

Operational Support

The pre-testing phase provides evaluation and definition of your internal baseline requirements, feedback on design alternatives, technical guidelines and whitepapers that incorporate best-in-class examples and access to code samples. In post-implementation phases, on-going technical assistance and feedback ensures PSP compliance decisions and internal IT direction are optimized.

Testing Support, Testing Services and Certification

The testing and certification phases validate that your software conforms to the technical standard. PSP technical staff provides tools and methodology to streamline these tasks. Certification is achieved by successfully passing a PSP administered compliance test. Testing is a requirement as new Business Object Documents (BOD) are introduced or as new versions of existing BODs are released.

Fees for support are tiered to supplier's company size.
