Development Participation

Companies that choose to participate in the development of the PSP specifications are able to actively participate in the full range of PSP project activities. Participants vote on strategic planning, alternatives analysis and prioritization of business transaction development. They provide input on business requirements for incorporation in future PSP specifications.

 

Benefits of Specification Development Participation 

  • The PSP team meets individually with a number of companies to gather and document requirements.
  • Draft Versions of Specifications – Automatic notification of and access to specification drafts for review and comment.
  • Development Participation Meetings – Invitations to attend or to obtain remote access to meetings to discuss PSP development. Electronic copies of meeting schedules, agendas, notes and minutes.
  • Specification Requirements Input – Input and voting on recommendations for new BOD requests, changes to existing BODs, changes to transport, and specification updates and modifications, as provided in the PSP Development Flow Chart provided in contract.
    • All PSP Partner recommendations subject to approval by the MIC Business Advisory Committee and/or the MIC Board of Directors.
  • Access to restricted areas of PSP Website – Partner level access to the PSP website. This may include but may not be limited to: 
    • Discussion Forum
    • Certification Posting
    • Posted Draft Specifications
    • Meeting Announcements
  • Advance Copies of Final Specifications - Automatic notification of availability of new final specifications ninety (90) days in advance of public release.
  • Automatic notification of informational PSP newsletters and notices.
