Great Collaboration
“The Partners Standard Protocol promises very large ongoing productivity dividends throughout our industry’s supply chain. We salute the hard work of MIC staff and of member companies that spent thousands of hours.”

PSP Team

The PSP team meets with both the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Business Advisory Committee (BAC) on an ongoing basis. The team is guided by the BAC in such topics as business requirements, development approach and plans for promoting widespread adoption. The team also maintains a constant knowledge exchange with the TAC

The team reviews Business Object Documents (BODs) that are developed and maintained by the Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail (STAR) organization. MIC members agreed that working with the STAR organization would allow us to adopt a standard that was compliant with methods used by some of their auto divisions. The PSP team identifies differences in requirements and submits requests for any changes to data structures back to STAR.

The team documents requirements, updates and develops new specification documents, provides operational and testing support for partners and subscribers and administrates the certification program.
