Supported Adopters are companies that have signed PSP support agreements, and are in the process of implementing PSP. Once their PSP implementation is tested and certified as PSP interoperable, OEMs, Suppliers and Distributors web services will be listed in a private Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) directory for discovery with all other PSP certified trading partners, and can go into production with PSP.
The UDDI registry provides a centralized, online directory that gives dealers’ and suppliers’ systems a uniform way to describe their services, discover other companies’ services, and understand the methods needed to conduct business electronically with a specific company. The Supplier UDDI entries express the fact their Web Services are an implementation of a STAR Web service.
